Kristin Poldemann, associate vice president of Facilities Design and Construction (FDC), was named a 2026 Health Care Design 10 award recipient.
The publication recognizes industry professionals and organizations across 10 categories, highlighting those who demonstrate innovation and set new standards for built environments that improve care delivery.
Health Care Design recognized Poldemann for her leadership in delivering “one of the largest facilities projects in Ohio State’s history” with the opening of the $1.9 billion University Hospital on The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center campus in Columbus. The publication noted that Poldemann guided her team through the complex, yearlong activation process for the nearly 2 million-square-foot project, including construction completion, regulatory approvals and operational testing.
